I was looking into that with mom last week and the only thing I saw was for sliding windows. They have a piece of metal that you can adjust to the window’s length and it has a hole for the hose.

Any cooling device will cause water condensation.
You’ll need a pan to collect the run-off for dumping later.

There is one I know of made by Everstar and Home Depot sells it. It has a catch basin for the condensation and a float switch that turns the unit off once the water reaches a predetermined level. Once the basin is emptied, simply use the reset switch and restart the unit. I think a 10,000 BTU cost like $300.00 last year.

All the portable units have a hose that has to go outside. This is to get rid of the heat produced during compression of the coolant. If you are not able to duct it outside or to an unused room, then you will not get any benefit out of running it.
